First Land Adventure

Last night was my first time to be able to venture out into the world.  Mrs. Kook took me to work with her at a local hospital.  I got to meet all sorts of fun people, especially the nurses.  They helped me get back to feeling 100% after my accident.  When I first arrived, I was getting so much attention from all of the women working there; it was a pirate's dream!  They even told me that if I wanted to come back, I was always welcome.  Below is a picture that Mrs. Kook took of me when we first arrived.

After we hung out at work for a while, I finally convinced her to let me help her do some of her work.  I am unfamiliar with any sort of work, as we pirates live a life of mischief that we consider fun.  We do not actually work, so I wanted to be able to experience that.  She let me answer the telephone.  It was so much fun being able to talk with people on it!  She even took a picture of me doing it.  Check it out below!

I tell you - working is such a wonderful thing!  I can only hope to be able to find a job once I'm feeling completely back to normal (also that someone will be willing to hire a flat pirate).  Mrs. Kook says maybe I can have her job when she finishes school and gets a job teaching.  Keep your fingers crossed, and stay tuned to my adventures!
